BARGETTO WINERY WINS GOLD MEDAL AWARD

Soquel, California. BARGETTO WINERY recently announced its 2005 Pinot Grigio won a Gold Medal at the 2006 Santa Cruz Mountains Wine Competition. This award represents the 8th consecutive vintage of BARGETTO Pinot Grigio to receive a gold medal award or better.

AC Nielson/Scan track, a wine sales reporting service, indicates U.S. total Pinot Grigio wine volume increased in the last year by 28.5%. This growth rate was only surpassed by sales of Pinot Noir which grew by 59.7%. AC Nielson data is collected from in-store sales scanners in grocery, liquor and mass market merchandise stores in 34 states.
