Bargetto Winery's 2008 Rosso is made with fruit from our own Regan Vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains. 2008 was a very good year for the Italian varietals from Regan Vineyards. After we blended our flagship LA VITA, we still had plenty of great wine left, so we put together a blend specifically for our wine club. This ruby red blend leaps with aromas of black cherries and leather, with a hint of holiday spices on the finish. The palate is round and luscious. there is plenty of juicy dark fruit in the mouth with the acid and oak combining for a long finish. This wine begs to be served with big rich dishes. Enjoy today and for years to come.
