4 tsp. cornstarch
½ cup water
1½ cup Port Wine
2 Tbsp Butter
2 tsp lemon juice
- In a sauce pan mix water, port wine, cornstarch until smooth.
- Add sugar, bring to a boil. Turn down to low heat andlet simmer until think, about 20 mins.
- Turn off heat and stir in butter and lemon juice. Let cool for awhile and enjoy.
- *Keeps for 2 weeks in your fridge
*Makes about 2 cups of syrup.
