{"id":957,"date":"2014-09-29T14:27:53","date_gmt":"2014-09-29T21:27:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bargetto.com\/?p=591"},"modified":"2014-09-29T14:27:53","modified_gmt":"2014-09-29T21:27:53","slug":"california-halibut-with-pinot-grigio-butter-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bargetto.com\/chaucers\/california-halibut-with-pinot-grigio-butter-sauce\/","title":{"rendered":"California Halibut with Pinot Grigio Butter Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(4) 6oz halibut filets, skin removed<\/li>\n<li>1 cup flour<\/li>\n<li>1 T. olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 cup Bargetto Pinot Grigio<\/li>\n<li>2 T. butter, unsalted<\/li>\n<li>salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DIRECTIONS<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>yield: serves 4<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Heat oil in frying pan over medium high heat.<\/li>\n<li>Salt and pepper halibut on both sides.<\/li>\n<li>Dredge in flour, shaking off excess.<\/li>\n<li>When oil is smoking hot, add fish (side where the skin was on should be facing up).<\/li>\n<li>Saute for 3-4 minutes, until bottom is golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Carefully turn fish over and add Pinot Grigio. Lower heat to medium, cover and cook for 6-8 minutes.
