{"id":879,"date":"2014-10-17T11:17:10","date_gmt":"2014-10-17T18:17:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bargetto.com\/?p=879"},"modified":"2014-10-17T11:17:10","modified_gmt":"2014-10-17T18:17:10","slug":"ginger-spiced-mead-cookies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bargetto.com\/lavita\/ginger-spiced-mead-cookies\/","title":{"rendered":"Ginger Spiced Mead Cookies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>by Beth Paiva<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br \/>\n2 cups flour<br \/>\n1\/2 cup sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 cup butter<br \/>\n1\/3 cup molasses<br \/>\n1\/3 tsp. baking soda<br \/>\n2 tbsp. ground cinnamon<br \/>\n1 tsp. allspice<br \/>\n3\/4 cup CHAUCER&#8217;S MEAD<br \/>\npinch of salt<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Cream butter and sugar together until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Scrape down sides of bowl and mix in molasses.<\/li>\n<li>Scrape down sides of bowl and mix in the CHAUCER&#8217;S Mead. (should be moist)<\/li>\n<li>Add and mix in all dry ingredients, mix until everything is incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Scoop onto a greased sheet pan, and bake for about 16 minutes. Cookies should be slightly firm to the touch when done.
