32nd ANNUAL ART IN THE CELLARS

GENERAL INFORMATION:
You are invited to apply to our 32nd Annual Holiday Festival. Art must be original, executed by the artist exhibitor. Photo mechanical reproductions, numbered or open editions are allowed on a limited basis and should serve only to supplement the display of a minimum 80% original art. This two-day festival of art and wine takes place in the wine cellars of BARGETTO WINERY.
Show hours will be on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 5:00pm. A celebration for BARGETTO Wine Club Members will be held on Saturday night 6-8pm. Artist exhibitors must attend and be present on both days of the festival as well as being present for the Wine Club event. Setup time is on Friday, December 6th 4:30 to 6:30pm. The Wine Cellars will be open at 9:00am on Saturday and 10:00 am Sunday.
You may submit your photos digitally. All photos must be on one page. Please include a copy of the application with your check when you mail it in. You may also mail in your photos in plastic photography sleeves for their protection. Identify the backside of each photo with your name and the title of the piece. Do not write anything on the front of the photos or plastic sleeves. Please send photos of your most current work. REMINDER: To keep the show fresh, we encourage you to present NEW artwork. Artists may store, at their own risk, their work, and materials at the winery on Friday and Saturday nights.
Artists must have a valid CA resale number and must conduct their own sales, being responsible for collecting sales tax. This show will be advertised in the local papers as well as by our own direct mail programs, email blasts, and signage around town. BARGETTO WINERY will provide postcard invitations to each artist.
DEADLINE:
Completed applications must be received by 4pm Tuesday, September 17th, 2024
Incomplete applications will not be processed.
The jury process will take place on September 19th and letters of acceptance or non-acceptance will be mailed during the week of September 29th.
BOOTH SETUP:
Booth sizes are irregular in shape and are much smaller than a normal 10×10 space. No tents are allowed. Each Artist must bring holiday decorations (small white lights & greenery). Due to limited electrical power, please provide low wattage lighting systems or LED.
FEES:
A booth fee check for $200.00 payable to BARGETTO WINERY, must accompany your application. If you are not accepted, your check will be returned along with your photos. If you are accepted, your fees become non-transferable and non-refundable. There is no commission on sales. Your booth fee includes one BARGETTO WINERY souvenir wine glass. Additional glasses for your helpers may be purchased at $5.00 each.
